To dye the case, Tulip has chosen murakumo-zome, a technique of dyeing creased fabric to produce an intricately beautiful indigo pattern that resembles clouds drifting across the sky.
Hand-dyed by skilled craftsmen, no two cases share exactly the same pattern.
Inspired by kaishi-ire (a traditional clutch for Japanese tea ceremony and other situations), the case has been meticulously designed so that it can easily store tools and crochet patterns, exuding a distinctive Japanese ambience.
