Masterclass: Knitwear design inspired by paper collages and colourful shapes – how to develop motifs both creatively as well as ecofriendly

Anna Husemann begins new projects almost always with a series of handcut paper collages, mostly created on the spot. It then gets digital – with digitalizing the collages, editing the motifs and transforming them into textiles by creating colour charts as templates. In between she searches for exciting colour and material combinations and suitable fibres so that she can finally start knitting. In her talk she gives an insight into her creative process and shows that eco responsibility plays a big role in it.
