Art isn't just something that happens in a studio – we believe in art made from stitches that connects people.

We first met Will Chatlosh at h + h in Chicago in 2025 and were immediately drawn to his crochet work – not because it was loud, but because it had something to say. His pieces won us over straight away with their originality and precision craftsmanship.

Will Chatlosh combines traditional craftsmanship with artistic expression in a surprising way. His portraits and works reveal personality and character, proving that crocheting can be much more than just a technique: it can be a genuine artistic statement.

As a young, up-and-coming artist, Will Chatlosh is still at the beginning of his journey. That is precisely why we at addi were particularly keen to support him, showcase his work and offer him a platform. We are therefore all the more delighted to be able to present his works at h + h Cologne.

We see this exhibition as an invitation to take a closer look, take your time, smile, reflect – and then, of course, get to know Will Chatlosh personally. In daily workshops at the addi booth (K-011, hall 11.2), he will demonstrate how it's done creating a community artwork he designed called “Underwater”.
