About Daniela Johannsenova-Orschel
Daniela Johannsenova-Orschel loves handicrafts. She knits, crochets, sews, embroiders, knots macramé, works with punching needle and all this for just over 40 years. Since 2005, she has been freelance designing knitwear for various yarn manufacturers, TV and theater productions, magazines and books. She works as a costume designer for the Witten Children's and Youth Theater. In addition, she organizes the Wool Festival in Düsseldorf with over 4,000 visitors.
Privately, she is actively involved with Kölner Herzkissen e.V., Düsseldorfer Wollengel e.V., Aktion Grüne Socke e.V. and Lebenshilfe Neuss.
All her activities are united by her love of handicrafts and her enjoyment of contact with people.
