About Catalina Yomayusa A la Rola
Behind the label A LA ROLA is the Colombian-born Catalina Yomayusa Rodriguez, better known in the scene as La Rola. Since childhood, she has been involved with macramé and other yarn techniques such as crochet, knitting and weaving. Her nickname a Rola, she received in early years because she is always in motion. So it is not surprising that in 2019 she has founded her own brand. Since 2021, she also offers workshops and materials for yarn enthusiasts and DIY fans. In 2022, Catalina published her first two macramé books with EMF Publishing: "Colorful Macramé & more" and "My Advent Calendar Book - Macramé super easy".
