h+h cologne goes green!

h+h cologne handmade windows

Sustainable living for all: conscious handwork!

"Green" products have now established themselves in many consumer areas - even in the handwork sector! Sustainable products are an integral part of the supply chain of many trading companies. Sustainable products are evolving from the trend to self-evident. The more sustainable product variants become established, the greater the need for orientation.

We would like to meet this sustainable development again at h+h cologne 2021.

Sustainable products will be staged again next year on the presentation platform in Passage 2/3. You can also follow and discover upcycling projects by minhafaktur live in cooperation with Karin Wahl.

Karin Wahl shows on the goes green area how to stage effective shop windows with simple means and "saved" furniture, so to speak from the cellar to the stage. During daily live performances you can watch her create such a shop window. She is also happy to answer questions on the subject.

About minhafaktur and Möbelkiste Vom Dabberg:

Logo minha faktur and Moebeliste Vom Dabberg

The 'minhafaktur' including the 'furniture box Vom Dabberg' is a collectively run shop in the Agnesviertel, which is co-designed by 25 people. 25 people who are convinced that their intrinsic motivation is sufficient to run a company that is both personally and economically successful. Who work out, test, change and constantly question rules, regulations and guiding ideas themselves. There are no hierarchies and barely formulated rules. What is sold is what young artists* and designers* have produced independently. Creating without destroying and continuing to use what already exists and can exist for a long time are the most important criteria for the products' right to exist. Consumption, however, is not the focus of attention, but rather the exchange and work on society as it is and as it should be.
